Insoles, inserts, shoe liners, footbeds. It may have many names, but this product plays a key role in the relationship between your foot and your footwear.
The insole usually performs several tasks:
Comfort
Your removable insole acts as a comfortable layer between you and the shoe.
Cushioning
In harmony with your foot and the shoe, the insole provides an absorbent layer.
Support
Depending on the insole material, the insole supports and cradles your foot.
Here at Muck Boots, we use two different types of insoles.
Our standard insole consists of a die-cut and molded EVA foam that gently cushions and supports your foot. The insole is perforated in the forefoot area to promote air circulation and also benefits from an antimicrobial bioDEWIX™ top layer and NZYM™ for odor control and moisture management.
We recently introduced a new, comfortable dual-density insole. The molded PU sole features multi-directional flexible grooves that provide comfort and allow the insole to follow the natural contours and movements of your foot. The grooves also help channel air around the foot to create a comfortable wearing climate.
The insole impresses with a memory foam layer and an antimicrobial bioDEWIX™ top layer and NZYM™ for odor control and moisture management - for first-class wearing comfort.
In combination with the other components of the shoe and your natural movements, our industry-leading insoles ensure that our shoes remain comfortable all day, every day.
